Client: Stacie Woolsey - Founder of Make Your Own Masters.

šŸ’” From a mountain of ideas to a validated, actionable plan to launch a think tank.

The Challenge

Stacie came to me asking ā€œhow can I find the gem in this mountain of ideas?ā€

Stacie had a wealth of ideas but wasn’t sure which one to pursue or how to turn them into a viable business. She needed clarity, a structured approach to validation and to build confidence, so she could transition from her job into entrepreneurship in a sustainable way.

Our Approach

Stacie agreed to work on a product validation strategy and subsequently a new business strategy andĀ  ongoing support. This progression is testament to the value we delivered. Confidence in an idea, the answers to ā€œHowā€ and the support to refine and go again.Ā Ā

šŸ”¹ Product Validation Strategy (6 sessions)

  • We started by listing all her ideasĀ and breaking them down into potential products /services.

  • Defined who each product was forĀ and how to test demand.

  • Conducted customer research & conversationsĀ to gather real-world feedback.

  • Identified which ideas fit best with her lifestyle & business goals. The breakthrough moment was a combination of life conversations alongside discussing what each idea would entail. Stacie was clearly more interested in one idea than the others.

šŸ”¹ New Business Strategy (4 sessions)

  • Once we chose a direction, we built a strategic planĀ to validate the idea with paying customers.

  • Developed a targeted outreach strategyĀ to connect with potential buyers.

  • Created a New Business Strategy DocĀ to track leads and continuously refine based on insights.ā€œBusiness developmentā€ didn’t come easily to Stacie. The structure we provided allowed her to complete small tasks often, balancing things like prospecting alongside more enjoyable work.

šŸ”¹ Ongoing Support & Strategy Refinement (ongoing bi weekly)

  • Set up reporting toolsĀ to measure what’s working and where to improve.

  • Built a framework to help Stacie identify & validate new opportunitiesĀ in real time.

  • Developed a transition planĀ to move from her current job into running her business full-time—sustainablyĀ and confidently.

At the time of writing this case study we meet every 2 weeks, to review the data on nurturing her prospects and make small changes to the strategies as we learn about her customers and their needs.

ā€œSam found my passion in a pile of ideas. He filled me with clarity and confidence through breaking down the mountains I had pictured in my head into small tasks that I could achieve each week. Now I have direction and I tick off tasks that I know are contributing towards my ultimate goal. I’d absolutely recommend working with Samā€
